Exercises — Viola

Daily drills generated from the CGDA fingerboard — check each one by ear, then play it in tune.

Short, repeatable drills with notation and playback, generated from the Viola's own CGDA geometry: an open-string check that walks the fifths, a four-finger pattern held inside one position, a crossing drill between genuinely neighbouring strings, and an octave check whose placement is computed from the real interval between each pair.

Every drill plays back PLUCKED — the audio engine here is pizzicato, and there is no synthetic bow on this site pretending otherwise. Use the sound to check pitch, and your own arm to check the stroke.
